Discovering My Truth – An Evening with Yahya Mahamid
Yahya is a 19-year-old Israeli Arab Zionist who was indoctrinated from childhood to hate Jews and deny Israel’s statehood. However, Yahya began to have regular interactions with Israelis, which challenged the negative views he had been encouraged to develop. Today, Yahya is a brave young voice, speaking out for Israel and against hatred. The Lappin Foundation and StandWithUS invite the community to hear Yahya’s story.
Toddlers ages 18 months to 2.9 years and their parents/ caretakers are invited to enjoy stories, songs, creative movement, snack and playtime. PJ Library Movin’ & Groovin’ with Phyllis Eidelman is a free program of Lappin Foundation in partnership with Epstein Hillel School.
PJ Library Jewish Rock ‘n Roll with Jon Nelson
Children ages 3-5 and their parents/ caretakers are invited for tons of fun! Enjoy music, puppets, dance and movement! PJ library Jewish Rock ‘n Roll with Jon Nelson is a free program of Lappin Foundation and Epstein Hillel School.
2018 Y2I is open to Jewish teens who are sophomores or juniors in high school as of September 2017, and who live in or who are members of a temple in the Foundation’s service area. Teens and parents are invited to attend an informational meeting to learn more about 2018 Y2I, including a fun, FREE, two-week community trip to Israel from July 1-15, 2018.
