Yahya is a 19-year-old Israeli Arab Zionist who was indoctrinated from childhood to hate Jews and deny Israel’s statehood. However, Yahya began to have regular interactions with Israelis, which challenged the negative views he had been encouraged to develop. Today, Yahya is a brave young voice, speaking out for Israel and against hatred. The Lappin Foundation and StandWithUS invite the community to hear Yahya’s story.

2018 Y2I is open to Jewish teens who are sophomores or juniors in high school as of September 2017, and who live in or who are members of a temple in the Foundation’s service area. Teens and parents are invited to attend an informational meeting to learn more about 2018 Y2I, including a fun, FREE, two-week community trip to Israel from July 1-15, 2018.
