Sunday, December 11, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET on Zoom

Families of all ages are invited to this interactive cooking class! This hands-on workshop will teach you how to achieve the perfect balance of crispy on the outside and creamy potato on the inside, just in time for Hanukkah! Purchase an ingredient kit (and avoid all the potato shredding) from Mamaleh’s which includes latke mix ready to fry, sour cream, applesauce, and printed recipes. Pick-up will be at the Marblehead JCC and Temple Emanuel of Andover a few days prior. Or, provide your own ingredients: Russet potatoes, onion, eggs, vegetable oil, sour cream and applesauce.

Tune in for tricks on oil temperature, variations and creative garnishes. The following tools will be needed for this workshop: Sauté pan that heats evenly, or any heavy bottom pan; food processor or box grater; mixing bowl; spatula and a cooling rack.

Free. Everyone welcome! If you have any questions, please email Lynne@LappinFoundation.org.
